President Obama vs. the Democrat party on troop increase

As President Obama trying to figure out a way out of Afghanistan, he might find some difficulties from home.
The Democrat party is not necessary to back him up with his plans, and on next Tuesday evening the President will reveal his new strategy in a speech to cadets at West Point.
Some of the powerful democrats on the Hill are against troop buildup, and now Obama will have to try to find a way to get the support he needs from home.
